November and December
Happy New Year everyone! We are fully back into the swing of things here at school having a nice break for Christmas and new years. We hope everyone had a wonderful, magical holiday season as well! Here are some updates from the last few months before our break!
November
November brought a delightful chill to the air, but our preschool was buzzing with warmth, laughter, and a spirit of discovery! 🌟 In November, our little learners were busy immersing themselves in a variety of activities that not only spark their creativity but also foster teamwork and cooperation. From collecting leaves and creating our own leaf people, to learning about the continent of Europe, each moment is an opportunity for growth and learning.
Our November-themed collage beautifully captures these engaging experiences. You can see the joy on their faces as they work together, sharing ideas and building friendships. 🍂 Whether they’re creating colorful leaf collages or diving into Thanksgiving-themed art projects, the creativity in our classroom knows no bounds! The vibrant colors and textures they explored not only brightened our space but also deepened their understanding of the world around them.
Outdoor play was also a highlight in November! Children are seen exploring their surroundings with curiosity and excitement, discovering the beauty of nature as they play. 🔍 The friendships formed during these activities are heartwarming, showcasing the bond that develops through shared experiences.
December
December at Sakura Valley was a month of festive fun, discovery, and togetherness! 🌟 Our little globetrotters explored Christmas traditions from across Europe, creating passports and 'traveling' to new countries to learn about their unique holiday customs.
The classroom buzzed with creativity as we decorated gingerbread cookies, crafted homemade ornaments, and adorned our Christmas tree with love. 🎄 Snowflake, our mischievous Elf on the Shelf, made a return and kept the children giggling with his antics, adding extra holiday magic to our days.
Of course, the joy extended outdoors as the children enjoyed playful moments in the crisp December air, embracing the season with curiosity and cheer. ❄️ Whether inside or out, December was a month of celebration, connection, and memories we’ll treasure forever!
